Who we are
The controller of your data is Renārs Dāvids Bitenieks (Entrofield), a self-employed individual in Riga, Latvia. Contact: offers@taunt.ing.
What we collect and why
When you send an offer, we receive your name, email address, the amount you offer and your message. We use them only to answer your offer and, if we agree, to complete the sale of the domain. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Your name, email and offer are needed to send an offer, as we cannot answer it without them; the message is optional.
Like any website, our host processes your IP address and browser details to serve each page. When you send the form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks your browser with the same details to keep out spam, and your IP address counts toward a limit of a few sends a minute. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the site securely and receiving offers from people, not bots (Art. 6(1)(f)). We set no cookies and run no analytics on this site.
Who receives it
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this site, runs Turnstile and emails your offer to our inbox. It serves the site from a global network, so a request may be handled outside the EEA, under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in its Data Processing Addendum. It also uses the Turnstile checks, as an independent controller, to improve its bot detection.
- Google (Gmail) holds our inbox, where your offer and our replies are kept. Google holds these emails under its own terms and privacy policy, not a data processing agreement with us, and may store them outside the EEA under the safeguards its privacy policy names, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else, and our site stores nothing about you.
How long we keep it
We keep offers and our replies in the inbox while the domain is for sale, as the history of offers received. If you buy the domain, we keep the records of the sale as long as Latvian accounting law requires (at least 5 years), under our legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)). We delete your offer sooner on request, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, its correction or deletion, to restrict its use, and for a copy in a portable format. Email us at the address above. You can also complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija) or the supervisory authority where you live.
Right to object. Where we rely on our legitimate interest, you can object at any time to that use of your data, on grounds relating to your situation, by emailing us at the address above.
